Pure orange blossom water, steam-distilled from bitter orange flowers. Use as a facial toner morning and evening, or to flavour pastries. Distilled at the Jinen Al Khayl estate, El Fahs, Tunisia.

Thyme hydrosol distilled from wild thyme growing on the limestone hills of Zaghouan. Purifying for combination and oily skin. Spray on cleansed skin, especially across the T-zone.

Pennyroyal hydrosol, known locally as fliou. Delivers an immediate cooling sensation. Spray on face, neck and forearms. Keep refrigerated in summer. Not recommended during pregnancy.

Chamomile hydrosol, the gentlest in our range. Soothing for reactive skin and the eye area. Spray on the face, or soak two cotton pads and rest them on closed eyelids.

Rose geranium hydrosol with its distinctive rosy scent. Tones and refines skin texture. Spray morning and evening, then apply a plant oil over still-damp skin.

Eucalyptus globulus hydrosol, fresh and invigorating. Use on skin after exercise, or spray into the air to freshen a room. Avoid the eye area.

Clove hydrosol with a warm, spiced character. Apply locally to oily areas. Dilute for first use. Avoid the eye area.

Lemon peel hydrosol, carrying the freshness of citrus without the acidity. Brightening for dull skin. Spray in the morning and avoid direct sun exposure for the following hour.

True lavender hydrosol, Lavandula angustifolia. The most versatile in the range: soothing on skin, pleasant on linen and pillows. Spray on the face, after waxing, or on bedding at night.

Pure damask rose water. Its distillation requires a large volume of petals for a small yield of water. Spray on cleansed skin before serum or cream. Also used to flavour traditional desserts.

Fenugreek oil, known as helba, holds a particular place in North African traditional care. Rich and nourishing. Massage a few drops into face, body or scalp. Leave as a hair mask before shampooing.

Cold-pressed chia seed oil, among the richest plant oils in omega-3. Its texture stays light despite that richness. Apply a few drops to the face at night, alone or mixed into night cream.

Virgin coconut oil. Solid below 24°C, it melts on contact with skin. Use as a body treatment or as a pre-shampoo hair oil, left on for an hour before washing.

Cold-pressed prickly pear seed oil. Close to one tonne of fruit yields a single litre. The cacti grow naturally on the dry land around the estate. Apply three to four drops at night to face and neck.

Traditional black soap for the hammam ritual. Its thick texture is applied to damp skin and prepares it for exfoliation. Apply in a warm room, leave five to ten minutes, scrub with a kessa glove and rinse. Moisturise afterwards.

A cream deodorant applies in very small amounts and lasts a long time. Formulated without aluminium salts. Take a pea-sized amount, apply to clean dry skin and let it absorb before dressing.

An air freshener made only from hydrosols distilled at the estate: eucalyptus, lavender, thyme, lemon and clove. Free of essential oils, which makes it usable around children. Spray into the room, onto textiles, or in the car.

A shampoo formulated without sulphates, silicones or parabens, with rosemary, keratin, aloe vera and provitamin B5. Apply to wet hair, massage the scalp, rinse. Suitable for all hair types.

Each soap is moulded and turned out by hand, so every piece differs slightly. Cold-process saponified, it retains its natural glycerine. Keep on a draining soap dish to extend its life.

Cold-pressed moringa seed oil, one of the most oxidation-stable plant oils. Absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy film. Two or three drops on the face at night, or blended with a richer oil.

Peppermint hydrosol, the most strongly cooling in the range. Spray on face, neck or legs, especially at the end of the day. Not recommended for young children.

Pure true lavender essential oil, steam-distilled. Not to be confused with lavender hydrosol: the essential oil is several hundred times more concentrated. Always dilute in a carrier oil. Not for use during pregnancy or on children under three.

Pure lemon essential oil, cold-expressed from the peel. Always dilute before applying to skin. Photosensitising: avoid sun exposure for twelve hours after use. Also suitable for diffusion.

Cold-pressed Brazil nut oil, Bertholletia excelsa, among the richest and most nourishing. Denser than a dry oil. Massage a few drops into dry areas, or blend with a lighter oil for facial use.
